Wolverhampton Wanderers is a club that is based in Wolverhampton, England and it is a professionally run football club. The club is not just one amongst the many Midland teams as it plays its football in the top tier of English football currently, the Barclays Premier league. It is quite a successful football club in its own way having won the few trophies since its inception in 1877. Wolverhampton Wanderers is one of the very few clubs to have won the league, FA Cup and the league cup.

The club has won the league thrice, the FA Cup twice and similarly the league cup also twice. However, since the early 1980s, the club has been in the bit of a decline and it is only now that they have steadied the ship by remaining in the Premier league for two consecutive seasons. Molineux is the ground where the club plays and it has a capacity of just under 30,000.
