West Bromwich Albion is one of the four professional football teams in the Midlands region of England and the club are based in West Bromwich, England. The club was formed in 1878 by factory workers and it was one of the founding teams to inaugurate the football league in 1888. They have also won a number of trophies during their time in the football league and West Brom is one of the very few clubs that has remained in the top level of English football since its inception.

The club first won its major trophy in 1920 by winning the championship. However, most of their successes has come in the FA Cup and the club has won it five times, which is an incredible achievement considering the current status of the club with regard to a number of big boys like Manchester United and Liverpool.
