Wesley Sneijder is the player that everybody is regretting to have missed an opportunity to sign as he was available for peanut price only a couple of seasons ago when Real Madrid did not want him. However, he has turned out to be one of the most astute deals of the century as some rate him at £30 million now. Jose Mourinho snapped him for just around £10 million and for that he responded by pushing the club to not just Champions League success, but to the treble.
Inter Milan last season won all the trophies that they contested in and Wesley Sneijder was one of the chief reasons for that. From midfield, playing as an attacking playmaker, Wesley Sneijder destroyed a number of opponents like Chelsea and Barcelona along the way to help the club win its first Champions league crown. This season, however, has not been that great for Wesley Sneijder.
