Chelsea FC is one of the most recognisable football clubs from England and they are considered as one of the top clubs in the world. The Pensioners or The Blues, are some of the nicknames for the club that was founded in 1905. Chelsea have an illustrious history and it has grown even more with the takeover of Russian oil magnate, Roman Abramovich in 2003. Following the takeover, Chelsea have won three league titles since taking their overhaul to four.
Apart from having only titles, the club have also won FA cups six times and very few clubs can boast of it. The club plays at Stamford Bridge in West London, which has been the home of the club since its inception. Royal blue is the colour of Chelsea’s kit and they are also one of the very few clubs to have won the domestic double in a season.
